Shooting snow over a setting sun
After a very early blizzard in October 1997, the eastern plains of Colorado were heavily drifted with snow. Union Pacific found that it needed to call the Cheyenne-based rotary snowplow to open up the Limon Subdivision (Kansas Pacific). UP's rotary plow No. 900082 chews through a small drift east of Arapahoe, Colorado, throwing the snow over a setting sun.
