| The standard gauge diesel hydraulic shunting locomotive #52-226 is resting in the Sofia shed. The BDZ Class 52 is an export version of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR) Class V60. The Bulgarian units were built by VEB Lokomotiv und Electrotechnische Werke "Hans Beimler" in Hennigsdorf in the former East Germany (DDR) in 1965. |
