This steel caboose, acquired in 2000 by the Minnesota Transportation Museum. During restoration at the Jackson Street Roundhouse shops it was determined that 13500 was most likely the CB&Q's first steel caboose. It is the lowest numbered NE-10, which is the first series of CB&Q steel cabooses and was built in August of 1930. Now after a complete restoration it is used to give rides on the Jackson Street roundhouse trackage because of it's many seats and windows making ideal for children's parties etc.
Not
