NJ Transit train MidTOWN Direct train 6639 is arriving in Convent Station. The area to the left of the locomotive, near the wood pole, is part of the former Morris County Traction right of way. This once thriving interurban line had connected Elizabeth, N.J. with Lake Hopatcong, N.J. A short stretch of this right of way, through Convent Station, is now a hiking and biking trail. known as the Traction Line Recreation Trail.
