Even in Manhattan, famous New York City can be far away. Here at Dyckman Street in the northern panhandle of the island, you are further away from Times Square than if you lived in Brooklyn Heights or even Hoboken, New Jersey. Like those other places, trains attach Dyckman Street to the world. In doing so, they become chariots of our dreams, dreams that there is somewhere else we must go see. Let's take this one now.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
