| IMRL power including SD9 No. 612 and a former Soo Line GP7/9 combo wait for their next assignment at Davis Jct., Illinois, southwest of Rockford. This junction at one time connected Milwaukee Road's mainline between Chicago and Omaha with lines to Wisconsin permitting the railroad to avoid Chicago congestion to reach Milwaukee. |
