Moody clouds and sun were quite fitting along Pan Am's East end on September 15, 2014. In what some expected to be one of if not THE last train over rails beyond Bangor, Maine, westbound MABA rounded the one-time 25mph curve along State Street in Veazie with high-hood 382 leading the 64-car train. From Waterworks East, the original Maine Central ROW will be mothballed with all traffic to go a new Central Maine & Quebec/New Brunswick Southern routing via Northern Maine Junction.
