| A former SD40 built for the Canadian Pacific and still wearing that railroad’s colors takes a break in the Muskego Yard as it receives a little TLC from the yard’s shop personnel. This unit has an interesting history in that it was originally purchased by the CP in 1967, later got sold to the Class II railroad DME and today is back under Canadian Pacific control after that railroad took over the DME in 2008. This view was taken from the Hank Arron State Trail in downtown Milwaukee. Thanks to the owner of South Side Trains for telling me about this location |
