Brand spanking new and on their way to Pretoria, running contra flow while passing through the cutting out of Ashburton Station here is Transnet Freight Rail's (the first two of six ordered) imported 160T breakdown cranes (built by Kirow - Germany), No. 601 and No. 602. They arrived in Durban, South Africa by sea.
