| The 11.25 Paris Est to Stuttgart Hbf formed of a double-deck TGV has just passed the closed station at Arzviller. Right-hand running applies here as a legacy from the German occupation of Alsace-Lorraine in 1871-1918. In March 2016 this section of line will be bypassed by TGVs on the 100 km extension of the LGV Est (phase II) from Baudrecourt to Vendenheim just short of Strasbourg now under construction. |
