On a hazy August evening, an eastbound K train slowly climbs over the vertical curve at the summit of the Blue Mountains at Kamela. Despite brown skies from forest fires in central Oregon, the evening light still cast a nice glow on the train composed mostly of orange Hapag-Lloyd containers.
