As the early morning sunlight of an early summer day begins to shine into the winding Palouse River Canyon, a northbound empty grain train emerges from Tunnel 14 and passes along one of many narrow rock shelves in the canyon. At this moment, the train is simultaneously passing through four different tunnels, with the rear end having just cleared a fifth one!
