| Only about 6 months left of steam at Saiccor now before diesel replacement! The last working steam operations (non preservation) in South Africa. Saiccor No. 3 (Ex SAR Class 19D No. 2767) - Leaving the Saiccor Exchange Yard at Umkomaas with a load of timber for the short run up to the mill. Transnet Freight Rail carry timber to the exchange yard and then the two Saiccor steam locomotives that remain in service (three originally), ferry the timber up from the exchange yard to the mill. |
