Remarks & Notes

Narrow gauge railways are still clinging on in some of the more remote areas of India and here the morning train from Malsar is approaching its destination of Dabhoi in the Gujarat plains. A few years ago, this junction was entirely narrow gauge but the relentless push of modernisation has seen 3 out of the 4 platforms here converted to broad gauge and connected to the rest of the national network.
