| Up's Pendleton Roundup Special lays over at La Grande Yard and station over night. Led by 4-8-4 UP 8444, the train will head west on September 15 to Pendleton and back to Portland. The dome car shown was an observation that UP covered the rear windows on so it could be used as a lounge mid-train. The City of Portland would have had one of these cars on the rear when the car was delivered in the 1950s. |
