Meet at Hillside
The NS Track Geometry Train made a round trip on the CSAO Lehigh Line on this day, running eastbound mid-morning and returning west in the early afternoon. The timing of the westbound run was just right for a meet with Conrail OI-10 at Hillside. OI-10 had rolled to a stop moments before the 903 arrived, having just completed work on the Irvington Industrial Track. After the passage of 903, OI-10 would run east to Parkview Yard with a short train of empties. |
