| This pair of BNSF GEs is in Russellville to power a sixty-car tie train put together by D&R. They were dropped off by UP late in the afternoon on November 19, and spent the night on the north leg of the UP/D&R wye. On the morning of the 20th the D&R crew is pictured taking the big jacks south with 9 or 10 cars. Here, they've almost reached the 'crest' of Oakland Heights at 19th Street. It will be mostly downhill from here to the holding track where they will wait while their train is readied. |
