A two car 'Hunter' DMU set awaits departure time at Newcastle, with a local service to Telarah. At the time of writing the the line into Newcastle is due to be closed and ripped up on Boxing Day 2014 as part of a (in this railfan's opinion) corrupt plan to sell off the land to developers.
