In an extremely cold wind, an eastbound Burlington Northern freight is veiled in blowing snow at Grizzly, Montana, on March 3, 1989, beneath the looming scenic and rugged mountains of Glacier National Park. The train is led by BN No. 3501, a former CB&Q GP40 that was remanufactured by Morrison-Knudsen in 1988.
