      Remarks & Notes
Forty years ago yesterday, I had graduated from a Kodak Instamatic to a brand-new Minolta SRT-101. I was running the first roll of film through it when I encountered this train on the CNJ-operated Lehigh and New England Railway. Within a few months, the CNJ would cease to operate the LNE, and the Lehigh Valley would operate the line until it became a part of Conrail. The Minolta fared better - I still use it occasionally.
