| A pair of Iowa Northern MPI locomotives haul a short train across the Cedar River in downtown Waterloo. I moved from Iowa to Minnesota in June of 2008 as floods were ravaging this area. It's hard to believe the river was over the railroad bridge here, eventually washing it out. You can see the difference between the old piers in the distance and the newer ones under the front of the train. |
