| A westbound manifest freight traverses scenic Sanderson Canyon in remote (and aptly named) Sanderson, TX as it heads toward El Paso on the famed ex-SP Sunset Route. The lead locomotive is the class unit of the SP order of SD70Ms and one must wonder if it plied these rails as SP 9800 in the mid 1990s. |
