| The 615 11am crew out of Rook Yard is given the assignment of running as a turn to Westland on this storm-filled Tuesday. Here, the crew shoves down the "new" Westland Branch a couple minutes before the skies opened up. The Westland Branch was built on former Montour Railroad ROW, and saw its first train movements in late 2012 after 28 years of non-use. It's nice to see infrastructure expansion in today's railroad scene, where reductions are the norm. |
