    On a mild December afternoon, NS train 980, loaded with M88 tanks, runs north up the Greenville District. Powering the train are two SD40-2s, the first of which was built in 1966 for the Pennsylvania Railroad and is one of 23 SD40-2s being traded to CSX for the remaining SD80MACs at the end of the month.
