The electric lines overhead haven't been used in 2 years since the Railbuses replaced electric traction. The line would last another ten years before succumbing to the automobile and Norfolk Southern's own competing bus service. Today this area is highly developed, the amusement park is long gone, and the trackage right of way is now Pacific Avenue. Photo Comments (1)
