NS 153 emerges from The South Carolina mountains and enters the somewhat flatter land of Georgia. The morning sun is beaming hard on Lake Hartwell this morning, which is also illuminating the mountain ranges that stand guard over the lake. Two dash 9's pull the train southbound towards Atlanta, Georgia, and then on to Birmingham, Alabama where a new train will be picked up, and a new crew will bring NS 154 northbound to Linwood, North Carolina!
