Here is a closer look to the engine repair and servicing facility in the background and the car repair shop in the foreground of the large classification yard of the BNSF in Barstow. In front of the locomotive repair facility, there is a loop track (not really visible on the photo), where for example the Christmas Train on the 15th of december was going through for the return to San Bernardino. In front of the car repair is a yard switcher in blue/yellow Santa Fe colors, not active this morning.
