With an air temp at -4F Erie Mining F9A 4211 leads DM&IR 193 and a train of empty BNSF steel hopper cars out of Rices Point. Who would have thought 4211 (or 193) would be powering an ore train, albeit empty, in 2015! The North Shore Scenic Railroad will store the train until it is needed to haul ore between Keewatin Taconite and the Fairfield Works in Birmingham.
