| 18-601 and 18-512 are seen here working a Rail / Works Train down towards Boughton Station in Pietermaritzburg. At the time there was extensive work being done on the section of the line that runs through Boughton, a very difficult and demanding section of the Natal Main Line. Included in the consist (directly behind the units) was Caboose No. 14609 still in her original South African Railway livery and being used as a home away from home for the maintenance team involved. |
