Norfolk Southern 8995 has made a unique trip to the Western United States. Here, it serves as the rear DPU for a southbound BNSF manifest making its way across the World-Famous Keddie Wye. Soon, NS 8995 will be winding through the depths of the Feather River Canyon on its way to Barstow. An endangered searchlight signal protects the west leg of the wye.
