    Remarks & Notes
Here we see coal empties from the UP and BNSF sandwiching a KCT Mill Street Yard to KCS Knoche Yard Transfer at The Incline. The coal empties on BNSF Train E KCLBAM0 124A are climbing north up into The Gooseneck on the BNSF St. Joseph Sub. off KCT Track 80. More coal buckets on UP Train CJOBT9 15 are rolling west through their CP Broadway on the UP KC Metro Sub. on Main Track 1, crossing over from Main Track 3 here. Squeezing up through the middle on KCT Track 79, and stopping to meet the UP move before taking the short trip east onto KCS Rails at Lydia, is KCT Train 310 with the area's last first generation Geep in revenue service on the point. This is still one of my favorite shots I've ever taken in KC. The late summer hazy, muggy kind of days prevalent that time of year are evident. Hard to believe it's been over 4 years since this taken, there have been some changes. The entire retaining wall here was replaced during the winter of 2013-2014 by the Kansas City Terminal Railway, the UP mains were moved over 30 feet to the right side of the photo to facilitate the modified position of the walls, and the work itself. All of the signals here were replaced with the notable exception of the searchlights towards the top of the ramp. The GP20 is now a resident of Louisiana since November 2014, and I've been working for the KCTL for over 2 years. Time sure flies.
