"MARYLAND MIDLAND"
Purchased by short line holding company Genesee and Wyoming in 2008. The MMID underwent big changes in 2014. Of the 7 GP38-3s, only 2 remain, with 4 SD40-2s painted in the G&W orange and black taking over the bulk of hauling. This is the G&W Rail Link painted on all the locomotives minus 2060 which was formally MMID 300 which was given a fresh coat of blue and orange and became the lines own "heritage unit." |
