| Never say that a large, six-axle diesel-electric has never been on the Grand Canyon Ry. Because of the heavy grades BNSF Dash 9-44CW 5063 assisted an extra passenger train into the former AT&SF passenger yard at Grand Canyon on May 20, 2008. To make room for it, Grand Canyon Railway’s own train at right was cut in two and doubled over to clear the lead. |
