| The Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railway designed a new paint scheme that paid homage to its northern routes called 'Heritage 1'. The Great Northern Railway inspired Omaha Orange and Pullman Green livery didn't last very long and was quickly replaced. Heritage 1 clad BNSF 1037 and 979 pull eastbound stacks and trailers through Kayser, New Mexico on April 4, 1998. |
