Sound Transit train 1700, the first afternoon rush hour commuter train, rolls along Puget Sound at Carkeek Park in Seattle at sunset. A lone person on the beach does not seem to have much interest in its passing, and the two car train tells of the lack of ridership on this route. The north route to Everett has stops in Edmonds, Mukiteo, and Everett.
