| This loaded coal train of type ASJ hoppers started its journey at one of the mines around Witbank and after joining the Germiston - Vereeniging line at Skansdam junction, is heading south to the Bijlkor yard which serves the Arcelor Mittal steelworks in Vanderbijlpark. Three class 38 electro-diesels are the regular power on this train. The hills in the background are the Suikerbosrand (sugar bush ridge) near Heidelberg. |
