| An empty grain train is returning west as it rumbles across the St-Anne River. It is the world capital of Tommy Cod fishing. During Tommy Cod season, generally from late December to mid-February, tourists come the municipality for ice fishing and a small fishing village is built on the frozen waters. On April 1st 1987, the river rose as much as three metres. The ice jam broke washing-away three of the six trough-truss spans. |
