| 1271 crosses Waitangi bridge over Tutaekuri River with excursion train returning from Hastings. The train is a feature of the annual Art Deco Weekend celebrating the architectural style Napier was rebuilt in during the 1930s after an earthquake. The locomotive was one of the last built in NZ (at Hillside, Dunedin.) |
