Remarks & Notes

Two former Deutsche Bahn "Pacific" express train steamlocomotives on the southern ramp to the Gotthard tunnel on a grade of 2.6 %, crossing the 103 meter long Polmengo viaduct (concrete, faced with granite stones) over the Ticino river above Faido. The train, organized by Eisenbahn Nostalgiereisen Bebra from Germany, is running from Locarno to Radolfzell via Konstanz this day, the other day to Munich.
