In this running meet at Raleigh Tower, Seaboard Extra 1112 North slips past Seaboard TT-23 working southbound out of the capital city. The extra north has export coal destined N&W's facility at Lamberts Point, VA while TT-23 is Florida bound with TOFC. This photograph captures the movement of two commodities Seaboard handled quite well, and this was "big time" railroading in Raleigh in 1966.
