| Three units lead a massive 59-car Conrail ME-32 through Metuchen Station on the Northeast Corridor. The train is in the process of crossing over from track 3 to 2 to 1 to the 0 track at Lincoln interlocking in order to access Metuchen Yard. The power includes NS SD40-2 3376, CSXT SD40-2 8886 (ex-EL SD45-2) and NS GP38-2 5312. A majority of the cars in the consist are loaded center-divider flat cars. After shoving the entire train around the west leg of the wye at Lincoln, the crew would spend the next few hours yarding the train at in Metuchen Yard. |
