| Due to some kind of overnight fiasco on the Sand Patch grade, everything was delayed on this day getting east out of Cumberland. Here the usually early morning Chambersburg stack train is seen passing through the Super Defect Detector located at Sleepy Creek hours behind schedule. This intricate set of mechanisms includes among many things microphones that detect wheel impact abnormalities. |
