Remarks & Notes

With two GP40-2s charging up the 2% grade, Rio Grande’s ski train is a little over half way to the slopes at Winter Park at the west portal of Moffat Tunnel. The unique motor car shed at Pinecliff has long disappeared along with the putt-putt cars. Jan. 31, 1981.
