Below the dome of VIA Rail dome-observation “Banff Park” is this lounge area adjoining the cocktail bar. These "Park" series observation cars (each named after a Canadian park) built by Budd for Canadian Pacific in 1954 featured 3 double bedrooms, a drawing room, plus generous lounge and dome seating.
