| It all began here - Today the Genesee & Wyoming name and paint scheme can be found on locomotives around the world. In 1983, only two locomotives wore the branding of the G&W, and they are seen here. Ironically the eleven mile long Genesee & Wyoming Railroad was folded into the Rochester & Southern in 2003, and no longer exists as an independent railroad. |
