| After collecting loaded grain wagons from the silos at Rooiwal, this pair of Kroonstad based class 34's in Spoornet blue livery are waiting in the freight siding for the signal to proceed north to Sasolburg. Once the Algoa passenger train has passed, the freight will be allowed onto the main line to continue its journey. Piles of concrete sleepers stored here provide a handy platform for the photographer! |
