The manifest train from Symington Yard in Winnipeg, MB, to Pullman Jct. in Chicago, IL, passes thru the fairly remote part of the Rainy Sub south of Virginia. The train is traveling on the dark territory til they reach Nopeming Junction near Proctor, almost 60 miles. CN runs this and the Missabe Sub as double track, southbounds this day were all on the Rainy Sub except for A438 which has to use the Missabe to reach Proctor Yard.
