On this day, a rather authentic steam passenger train of the 1920'/1930' circulated from Zürich to G?schenen and back, organized by some enthusiast of the association steam group Zürich (Verein Dampfgruppe Zürich, VDZ). The 5 two axle passenger cars (the baggage car the three axle F3 # 18275) had to be collected from Delémont, Buchs (SG), Romanshorn and Bauma. In Erstfeld, steamlocomotive B 3/4 # 1367 (2-6-0 "Mogul") had taken water and is going back to her train. She is decorated with flowers, because the reason for this train were two "round" birthdays and a wedding! The passengers are waiting on the platform for the onward journey over the northern ramp of the Gotthard line to G?schenen.
