On a windy but sunny early spring day in the Pacific Northwest, CP's southbound "Royal Canadian Pacific" consist, pulled by a matching A-B-A set of F-units, soars high above the Snake River on the 3,920-foot-long, 240-foot-high expanse of Joso Bridge on Union Pacific's Ayer Subdivision in Eastern Washington. The train is on its way towards Portland, Oregon as part of a joint CP-UP business trip.
