| Ge 4/4 II # 631 "Untervaz" of the Rhaetian Railways (RhB) with RegioExpress 1240 from Scuol-Tarasp to Disentis/Muster is crossing the "Ruinaulta" gorge, also kwown as "Swiss Grand Canyon". Here the Vorder Rhine carved through the deposits of a huge landslide of about 9 to 12 Mio cubicmeters from the Flimserstein mountain, about 9400 years ago. |
